Stanley Lamar Morgan, age 76, of Gray, GA, passed away Thursday, April 30, 2026, at Piedmont Macon North Hospital in Macon, GA.
Stanley Morgan was born in Hillsboro, GA on February 25, 1950, to the late Aubrey Lamar Morgan and Wynette Molden Jackson Morgan.
He served in the U. S.
Army during the Vietnam Conflict.
Before retirement, Stanley worked as a stockroom attendant for Grumman Corporation.
His hobbies included hunting, fishing, camping and shooting pool.
He is survived by his children; Bobby (Stephanie) Morgan of Douglasville, Steven Morgan of Wayside and Kelli Jackson of Wayside; grandchildren, Bobby Aaron Morgan, Shelby Howard, Gracie Morgan, Ty Morgan, Stormy Carroll and Gavin Jackson; great-granddaughter, Anna “AJ” Howard; brothers, Gail (Pamela) Morgan of Wayside and Lindsey Morgan of Wayside; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at the Chapel of Jordan Funeral Home, 264 Hillsboro Street, Monticello, GA 31064.
Rev. Jeff Simmons officiated.
