JONES COUNTY RECREATION
Seeding for the championship round of the Jones County Parks & Recreation Open Church Softball Leagues came down to the wire recently at the Highway 18 Complex. That sets the table for this week’s championship round, scheduled for Friday.
That will match up the top four teams with games scheduled for 7 p.m. and another to follow, crowning the league’s champion.
This year’s league is comprised of two teams each from First Baptist and Gray Methodist in addition to teams from Gray Community Church, Greenwood Baptist and Real Life Church. Last Thursday’s slate matched up Real Life Church against Gray Methodist and First Baptist against Greenwood Baptist.
