Tickets for Northside game on sale
Tickets for Jones County’s season opener on Aug. 20 against Northside in the Macon Touchdown Club Kickoff Classic at Mercer University are now on sale and may be purchased from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the front office. Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the gate.
The tickets are good for both games of the event, the Greyhounds 4 p.m. game against the Eagles and the second game between Mary Persons and Northeast Macon.
Youth Soccer Sign Ups Ongoing
There is still time to sign up for the upcoming season of Jones County Youth Soccer League as there is a deadline of Aug. 19.
Mandatory tryouts are Sept. 8 and practice begins Sept. 13. Age groups range from 4-16 and registration is $100 per child.
