Tennis teams conclude season in state tourney

    The Jones County tennis season came to end with both teams being in the state tournament last week.

    The Lady Greyhounds had a tough draw in their opening round match at Starr’s Mill, losing 3-0. The Greyhounds, going up against a region of teams from Fayette County and the Columbus area, also fell 3-0 as Jones County’s region saw just one of its teams advance to the second round.
