Most Greyhound student-athletes have had the week off from on-field competition. On the baseball diamond, however, Jones County has stayed sharp, going up against fierce competition while also having an eye on getting ready for the postseason.

Gym Hounds finish second in Newnan

The Gym Hounds placed second as a team against top-level gymnasts on Friday at Newnan, including Newnan, East Coweta and Cambridge. Autumn Clark was fifth in the vault with Chloe Clark being fifth on the bars and sixth all-around. In the floor routine, Cayl Milner placed fifth.
