Last week’s annual Macon Touchdown Club Spring Jamboree brought accolades for a pair of Greyhounds. The event, which recognizes top players and coaches from middle Georgia and beyond, features Georgia head football coach Kirby Smart as guest speaker.

Hounds ‘fight to the end’ in loss to Dutchtown

The Greyhounds postseason hopes officially ended with Tuesday’s 5-1 loss to Dutchtown. But Jones County, even in defeat, fired a shot across the bow all the way to the finish, showing that despite its postseason prospects, it’s a team that will still play hard to the finish.

Hounds, Lady Hounds dominate Jackson meet

Long distance, short distance or field events. Regardless of the type of discipline that last Thursday’s meet at Jackson called for, the Greyhounds and Lady Greyhounds found themselves near the front, posting a combined 20 finishes of either first or second.
