Greyhounds run all over Union Grove, 42-3

The Greyhounds ran into their first open weekend on the heels of a big win on Friday night, rolling all over Union Grove in a 42-3 win. Jones County got three touchdown runs by Travis Miller and one by Bruno Hicks in Friday's win that improved the Greyhounds to 3-2 overall and 2-2 in the region.

Big inning sinks Lady Hounds in first-place showdown

In any softball game, especially one between two evenly matched teams, a multi-run inning can change the game’s dynamics. Such was the case last Wednesday when Jones County hosted Ola in a game with sole possession of first place in the region at stake.

Middle school team sweeps Jasper County meet, sets multiple PRs

Madison Marshall shatters course, county recordJones County’s middle school cross country runners went to Jasper County on Saturday and turned in a dominating performance. Not only did both teams win the overall team titles, but a combined 26 personal records were also set.
