Humphries bringing continuity on new-look coaching staff

For the most part, the Greyhounds staff of football coaching is new as spring practice is now underway.There are a few outliers, and one of them is Alexus Humphries, who along with tight ends coach David Denson are the two holdovers from the previous coaching staff.

Registration is now open for the JCHS summer tennis camp for May 29-30 at the JCHS tennis courts from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., it is open to grades 3-12 for $50 per person.Participants should bring water and a tennis racquet. Sign ups are open through May 20 on GoFan.

Boys golf advances to sectionals

The Greyhounds are off to the next round of postseason.Jones County’s boys golf team came through in the clutch in last week’s area tournament, posting an overall score of 333. That was one lower than Ola, advancing JCHS to the sectional round, which took place earlier this week.

Falcons’ late rally sweeps Greyhounds from postseason
