Pickleball heating up with summer leagues

Regardless of age or ability, there are plenty of avenues to take on the fastgrowing sport of pickleball in Jones County as the summer begins. Jones County Pickleball’s summer leagues begin the first week of June, offering either novice or experienced players the opportunity to take the court.

Little’s wrestling career to continue at Brewton-Parker

Jones County High School’s graduation was not the only reason for David Little to celebrate last week.The two-sport athlete will also be moving on to wrestling in college, having recently signed on to wrestle at Brewton- Parker College in Mount Vernon.
