Greater Jordan Chapel AME Church
Greater Jordan Chapel AME Church, under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Maria Gordon, will celebrate its 158th Church Anniversary on Sunday, Oct.
12, at 2:00 p.m. The anniversary theme is “Rooted in Christ, Growing in Grace.”
The guest speaker for this milestone service will be Rev.
Wilber Green of New Damascus Church. The celebration will take place at Haddock Baptist Church, 180 Ethridge Road, Haddock, GA 31033. The community is warmly invited to join as the church reflects on its rich history and looks forward to continued growth in Christ.

Voices of the Past Lantern Tour
Oct. 10-12, 6:45 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. at Jarrell Plantation Historic Site, Juliette. Explore Jarrell Plantation by lantern light and hear the strange, dark, and mysterious stories from the farm’s history in the 1920s.

Salem AME Church Family and Friends Day
Salem AME Church, 115 Holloman Road, will have its annual Family and Friends Day Sunday, Oct. 19, at 2:00 p.m.
