Financial literacy month

Jones County Board of Commissioner Chairman Chris Weidner (left) presents a proclamation designating April Financial Literacy Month to Jonathan Pitts of the JACOR Foundation. The proclamation was passed by the commissioners at their March 7 meeting. Opportunities presented by JACOR to promote financial literacy are a presentation at the Jones County Library Saturday April 22, “A Journey to Financial Freedom” and a “Money $mart Summer Camp” June 12–16.
