Pilots share appreciation for Touch-a Truck-support

The ninth annual “Touch-a-Truck” event was held Saturday, Sept. 12th, on the grounds of the Jones County Sheriff’s Office.

The Pilot Club would like to extend a big “thank you” to Sheriff Butch Reece, Capt. Shane Moody, Chief Deputy Earl Humphries, and Chuck Gibson for making this event possible.

Thank you to all who brought their vehicles and equipment as well as those representing available services in the community and county.

We also thank Justin Kelly for the incentives he provided which included free cones for kids, a free 2-piece chicken dinner from Slim Chickens, and a free smoothie for the first 500 kids who stopped by the DQ Blizzard.

Attendees could also use their admission tickets for a chance to win 1 of 2 Jones County Sheriff’s Gas-Powered ATVs or 1 Year Free Washes from Sud’s Bucket Car Wash. We certainly thank our Pilot members who provided and served the desserts, and we appreciate those who worked the event. The proceeds help the club with our projects throughout the Pilot year. It was a big day in Gray.
