Jesus is going to return to this earth one day. He is coming back, and no power on earth or in Hell will be able to stop Him.
When He does return, He will do so just as He left--in bodily form.
Jesus left the earth in bodily form from the Mt. of Olives (Acts 1: 9-12) and ascended into Heaven in a cloud. As the angels stated in Acts 1:11, He will return “in like manner.” One day, in His own time, He will bodily return to earth in a cloud (Rev. 14:14) riding upon a horse followed by His army (Rev. 19: 11, 14).
This return of Jesus is not some mystical or abstract spiritual happening. The Jesus who walked the earth nearly 2,000 years ago, “this same Jesus” (Acts 1:11) will return to claim His planet. Make no mistake. Jesus will return “in like manner” as He left. Live and in the flesh!
Jesus’ bodily return is the Christian’s “blessed hope.” (Titus 2:13).
When Jesus returns, our bodies will be glorified, “fashioned like unto His glorious body” (Phil. 3:21).
Because He lives again, we will live again also.
People ask, “What’s the world coming to?” Why, it’s coming to Jesus!
