State vs. Charles Cleveland Cochran – 12 months each cts. 1-3: lesser included offense of pointing a pistol at another.
Counts 1 & 3 to run concurrently and Ct.
2 consecutively for a total of 24 months.
Sentence to be served on probation. Credit for time served from 6/10/24 and 6/12/24 – 6/12/24.
State vs. Samantha Shamar Thomas – five years ct. 1: lesser included offense of theft by receiving felony, three years ct. 2: possession methamphetamine. Counts to run concurrently for a total of five years with the first three years served in confinement.
The remainder of sentence to be served on probation. Credit for time served from 6/7/24 – 3/20/25.
State vs. Samantha S. Thomas – 15 years for the offense of possession methamphetamine with intent to distribute. The first three years served in confinement. Credit for time served from 6/7/24. Defendant to receive credit for time served and monies paid on sentence. Upon service of three years, the remainder of sentence may be served on probation.
State vs. Deiadre Antwann Jackson – 20 years ct. 1: burglary in first degree, three years ct. 2: possession methamphetamine.
Counts to run concurrently for a total of 20 years with the first 10 years served in confinement. The remainder of sentence to be served on probation. Credit for time served from 6/7/24.
State vs. Corey Eugene Gartenbush – 12 months for the offense of theft by taking.
Sentence to be served on probation. Credit for time served from 12/10/24 to 12/10/24.
State vs. Savanah Rose Helton – 12 months for the offense of false report of a crime.
Sentence to be served on probation. Credit for time served from 12/13/24 – 12/13/24.
PROBATION MODIFICATIONS
State vs. Richard Berry Moore – defendant ordered to serve 30 days in the Jones County jail with credit for time served since 3/16/25. He shall be released at the discretion of the sheriff. Upon release, he shall return to regular probation supervision. He shall also enter in and complete the matrix program, following all rules and regulations of the program.
State vs. Dylan Michael Duncan – defendant shall receive credit for time served since 3/11/25. He shall be released at the sheriff’s discretion. Upon release, he shall return to regular probation supervision. He shall also enter in and complete the matrix program, following all rules and regulations of said program.
State vs. John Charlie Prosser – defendant shall receive credit for time served since 3/12/25. He shall be released at the sheriff’s discretion. Upon release, he shall return to regular probation supervision. He shall also enter in and complete the matrix program, following all rules and regulations of the program. All conditions now special.
State vs. Jemel Devorn Williams – defendant must pay $750 to probation by noon 3/21/25. Defendant must serve 120 to 180 days in a probation detention center and must abide by all rules of the center. Credit for time served starts 3/20/25.
State vs. Calvin Brown – defendant ordered to serve 120 – 150 days at the probation detention center. Defendant shall remain in custody in the Jones County jail until entry into program and PDC time starts 3/20/25.
Upon release from PDC, the defendant shall enroll into and complete the matrix group. Defendant shall abide by all rules and regulations of group, followed by recommended treatment. All conditions now special.
State vs. Tabyous Drequan Grimes – defendant ordered to serve 60 days in the Jones County jail with credit for time served since 3/3/25. He shall be released at the discretion of the sheriff. Upon release, he shall return to regular probation supervision. He shall also enter and complete the matrix program, following all rules and regulations of the program.
State vs. Lania Anne Odom – defendant ordered to serve 30 days in the Jones County jail with credit for time already served in jail. She shall be released at the discretion of the sheriff and return to probation supervision as previously ordered. Defendant shall be on active probation for at least two years.
