State vs. Samantha Nicole Barlow – three years each cts. 1-3: lesser included offense of use of a telecommunication device. All counts to run concurrently for a total of three years.
Sentence to be served on probation.
State vs. Jonathan Paul Snellgrove – three years ct. 1: possession methamphetamine, 12 months ct. 2: driving while license suspended. Counts to run concurrently for a total of three years. Sentence to be served on probation.
State vs. Rico Anthony Cain – 10 years each ct. 1: violation of street gang terrorism and prevention act and ct. 2: sale of marijuana.
Counts to run concurrently for a total of 10 years with the first year served in confinement. The remainder of sentence may be served on probation. Defendant to receive credit for time served from April 3, 2022.
State vs. Passion Shineacus Bryant – three years ct. 1: possession schedule 1 controlled substance. 12 months each ct. 2: possession marijuana less than ounce and ct. 3: driving while license suspended. Counts to run concurrently for a total of three years.
Sentence to be served on probation.
State vs. Nykeria Tiasia Clemons – three years ct. 1: financial transaction card theft, two years ct. 2: financial transaction card fraud, 12 months ct. 3: theft by taking. Counts to run concurrently for a total of three years.
Sentence to be served on probation.
PROBATION MODIFICATIONS
State vs. William Bernard Mercer - defendant shall enter and complete long term inpatient treatment for substance abuse on an DCS approved facility for no less than six months.
He shall remain in the Jones County jail until bed space is available.
State vs. Aiyana Renee Nelson – defendant shall be ordered to serve 45 days in the Jones County jail. Upon release, the defendant shall return to regular probation supervision as previously ordered.
State vs. Keonia Telsia Roberts – defendant shall be ordered to serve 90 days in the Jones County jail, credit for time served, release at the discretion of the sheriff. Upon release, defendant shall complete a substance abuse assessment and mental health assessment, before May 30, 2023. Defendant shall return to regular probation supervision as previously ordered. (Two cases, same resolution) State vs. Franklin Everhardt Bates – defendant is ordered to the remainder of his balance revoked to the Jones County jail.
State vs. Floyd Stewart III – defendant shall serve 60 days in the Jones County jail with credit for time served. The defendant shall be released at the discretion of the sheriff. Upon completion defendant shall return to regular probation supervision.
State vs. Christina Nicole Hood – defendant shall serve 60 days in the Jones County jail with credit for time served. Defendant shall be released at the discretion of the sheriff. Upon completion, defendant shall return to regular probation supervision.
State vs. Kenneth William Liles – defendant is ordered to serve 120 days in the Jones County jail, no credit for time served. The defendant shall be released at the discretion of the sheriff. Upon release, the defendant is ordered to return to regular probation supervision as previously ordered.
State vs. Corey Lee Pickett – defendant shall serve 365 days in the Jones County jail with credit for time served since Aug. 14, 2022.
Defendant shall be released at the discretion of the sheriff. Upon completion defendant shall return to regular probation supervision.
Defendant shall also complete a substance abuse assessment.
State vs. Christopher Philyaw – defendant is ordered to serve 180 days in the Jones County jail with credit for time already served in the jail. He may be released at the discretion of the sheriff. Upon release, he shall return to regular probation supervision as previously ordered and remain on active supervision for the remainder of this probation case.
State vs. Victor Allen Freer – balance of this probation case is revoked to be served in the Jones County jail. Defendant may be released at the discretion of the sheriff. Case expires May 25, 2023.
State vs. Jason Edward Franks – defendant is ordered to serve 180 days in the Jones County jail with credit for time served in jail.
He may be released at the discretion of the sheriff. Upon release, he shall return to regular probation supervision as previously ordered and remain on active supervision for the remainder of this probation case.
