Benny Gray Jr. will go on record as the longest-serving councilman in the City of Gray’s history. He served the city’s District 2 for 35 years.The councilman served continuously since he took office Jan. 1, 1990, until he resigned Feb. 14, 2025. He was re-elected eight times.
