Main Street Gray sets new boundaries

Revised boundaries for Main Street Gray were adopted by the Gray Downtown Development Authority in June and will be presented to the city council at its August meeting.

McSwain moving from DA’s office to law school

The road to law school had a few curves for a young Jones County woman and included hands-on experience in the Ocmulgee Circuit District Attorney’s office. Elayna McSwain will celebrate her 23rd birthday by starting Mercer Law School Aug. 14.

Planning and Zoning requests took up the majority of a Board of Commissioners meeting that took place with a full house. The July 18 meeting was called to order by Board Chairman Chris Weidner. The opening prayer and pledge were led by Donald Black.
