Ignite Martial Arts celebrates 20 years in Gray

Ignite Martial Arts, a martial arts school in Gray, recently celebrated being open for 20 years in Jones County. The martial arts school is currently located at 511 Settlement Point Drive, Suite C, in Gray and has a schedule online for different classes.

Alice in Wonderland

The Queen of Hearts, Humpty Dumpty and the Cheshire Cat visited Jones County High School last week in a production of “Alice in Wonderland” The production took place in the JCHS auditorium March 17-19 with a cast and crew that numbered 35 students from all grade levels.

Robotics team makes top eight in Georgia

The Robomonkeys robotics team at Turner Woods Elementary School made it to the top eight at the state competition this year out of over 400 teams in Georgia. Rachael Williams, Turner Woods K-5 gifted teacher and robotics coach, said she was very proud of her students.
