Crime Watch

April 1 Officer Josey made contact with a local business manager that reported a piece of equipment had been rented and should have been returned the next day, but it was not. An attempt to contact the person that was listed on the rental contract was done with no luck.

A new gym has opened in Gray

Fitness Inferno, a new gym, has opened in Gray recently, providing new and different health and fitness options for residents of Jones County. Rob Daughtry and Eddie Wright, owners and health partners of Fitness Inferno, said they are happy to open the gym.

The Jones County News salutes the local Veteran of the Week

Anthony S. Vinson Sr. is the local Veteran of the Week. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1984 - 1988. He completed basic training at Parris Island, South Carolina, and was honorably discharged as a corporal.
