DDA to work on downtown parking, design guidelines

Gray’s Downtown Development Authority members agreed to work on simplifying design guidelines and performing safety repairs for a downtown parking lot. Chairman Sherri Rollins called the April 11 meeting to order. The finance report was given by Main Street Gray Director Ashley Roberson.

Guilty plea leads to 1-year sentence for shots fired

A domestic dispute that escalated to shots fired was resolved in Jones County Superior Court with time served and a probated sentence. Semaj Ingram entered guilty pleas in two cases April 15. He received 12 months on probation in the first case of reckless conduct.
