There are officially only a handful of winners on Saturday at River North Country Club. The bigger winners? The Clifton Ridge Middle School football program.
A benefit tournament of some 30 golfers took the course Saturday afternoon with a sole goal — to impact the Cougars football program.
Overall winning teams on Saturday were Mike Davis and Zack Morgan in first, Clay West and Kevin McKleroy in second, and River Vaughn and Taylor Jernigan in third.
