Mr. Robert Conrad Reece, age 48, of Flowery Branch passed away Saturday, May 28, 2022, at Emory University, surrounded by his family.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 2, 2022, in the Chapel of Memorial Park South Funeral Home with interment following at Memorial Park South Cemetery. Chaplain Aaron Burgess officiated. The family received friends from 5:00–7:00 pm., Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.
A memorial service was held at 11:00am, Friday, June 3, 2022, at First Baptist Church of Gray with Rev. John Haney and Rev. Aaron Burgess officiating. The family remained at the church following the services to greet friends.
Mr. Reece was born March 12, 1974, in Gray, Georgia to R.N “Butch” and Linda Avery Reece. A graduate of The University of Georgia, he was an Eagle Scout, an Investigator with the Jones County Sheriff’s Office and member of Hamilton Mill United Methodist Church. Robert was a dedicated husband, devoted father and cherished son. You never met a more avid UGA fan that would give the shirt off his back to help a friend. He loved hosting backyard barbecues, tailgates, traveling and most of all spending time with his children and family. Robert was a one-of-a-kind, dapper southern family man who is irreplaceable. He is loved and will be greatly missed by all.
Mr. Reece is survived by his wife of eight years: Crystal Ann Reece of Flowery Branch; children: Emersyn Nicole Reece and Conrad Grey Reece; parents: R.N. “Butch” and Linda Reece of Gray, Georgia; sister and brother-in-law: Kerri and BJ Sweeney of Milton; and nephews: Max Sweeney and Reece Sweeney.
