Deadline for youth football, cheerleading sign ups is Aug. 1
Those interested in signing up for Jones County youth football and cheerleading have until Aug. 1 for sign up. Opening day is Sept. 17 with picture day on Sept. 18.
Mandatory tryouts will take place Aug. 7 at 2 p.m. for the rookie/mite division and 4 p.m. for bantam/junior. All tryouts will take place at the Morris Bank Recreation Complex. For more info, visit www.jonescoun

Youth soccer sign ups underway
Sign ups for the upcoming season of Jones County Youth Soccer league are now being accepted through Aug. 19. Mandatory tryouts are Sept. 8 and practice begins Sept. 13.
