Jones County’s dominance at the Rancher’s Release The Hounds Invitational extended to the morning’s JV races with the boys’ and girls’ first-place finishers coming from Jones County. The girls’ race saw Kloe McMillan claim first on a time of 23:02.28 with Rylee Bell in fourth at 25:43.31 as Baileigh Gowan placed sixth on a time of 26:38.19, ahead of Lili Cook’s 26:56.81 in seventh, and Rylan Tribble claiming ninth on a time of 28:08.83. Taking 12th was Allie Waters on a run of 28:58.03. Peyton Simmons’ time of 19:42.62 won the boys’ race with Tripp Arnold and Christopher Reid being fifth and sixth with times of 21:24.97 and 21:25.50.
