Friends of the Library Book Sale
Friends of the Library will have a book sale Saturday, Oct. 8, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 273 Railroad St. next to the JCHS track. Proceeds benefit the Jones County Public Library.

Greater Jordan Chapel AME Church Anniversary
Greater Jordan Chapel AME Church will have their 155th church anniversary and homecoming concert Sunday, Oct. 9, 3:00 p.m. at the W.E.

Wild Adventure Day
Gray Garden Club and The Garden Club of GA are having a one-day Wild Adventure Camp on Oct. 11, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This camp is open to all children ages 9-11 years old and will be held on the grounds of the home of Hoyt and Sally Brown in Bradley.

Adams Tabernacle 1st Annual Men’s Ministry Golf Tourney

Haddock Baptist Fall Festival
Haddock Baptist will host their Fall Festival Sunday, Oct. 16, 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. There will be a hot-dog supper, s’mores, face-painting, hay ride, cake walk, bouncy house, obstacle course, trunk-or-treat, and pumpkin decorating. Women in Missions Yard Sale

Ocmulgee CASA training
Ocmulgee Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) will hold its Fall volunteer training every Monday and Wednesday, beginning Sept.
14 through Oct. 9, from 1-4 p.m. at Lakeview Academy in Milledgeville. Trainees must attend all nine sessions to complete the training.
