Friends of the Library Book Sale

Saturday, Jan. 14, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., 273 Railroad St., Gray, next to the JCHS track. Hundreds of books of all types for all ages. Incredible prices – many books are FREE! Feature of the month: Inspirational for all ages.

Dr. Ron McClung - Haddock Baptist Church

JCHS School Council Meeting

For the next two weeks, the School Council will meet at 6:00 p.m. in the JCHS Community Room.

Ocmulgee CASA Volunteer Training

Ocmulgee Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) will hold a new volunteer training class beginning January 18, from 1-4 pm at Lakeview Academy in Milledgeville. The 9 required training sessions will be held every Monday and Wednesday through February 15. CASA volunteers serve as the voice for children in foster care. Velma McFadden Food Bank

Velma McFadden Missionary Food Bank will be at Greater Jordan Chapel, 1415 Highway 22 East, Haddock, on the following schedule each month: First Saturday, 10:00-11:30 a.m.

Third Thursday, 10:00-11:30 a.m.

Mobile Food Truck Distribution Fourth Wednesday, 11 a.m. until all is gone.

Monetary donations, as well as canned goods, are also accepted.
