Camryn James pulled down seven rebounds on Saturday as South Georgia Tech ran its record to 18-1 overall with a 79-46 win against Georgia Highlands. The Jets, winners of 18 in a row, play Saturday at Andrew College.
Glow In The Dark Pickleball Tourney set for Feb. 24-25
Jones County Pickleball will host a Glow In The Dark Pickleball Tournament Feb. 24-25. The event is a fundraiser to raise money to help advance the sport in the community. Middle schoolers win Lake Country Duals, host traditional tourney Saturday Jones County’s middle school wrestlers started an action-packed, seven-day stretch with a win at Saturday’s Lake Country Duals tournament. This past Saturday’s tournament led into a week filled with three other events. Jones County, which competed in a dual meet this past Tuesday at Clifton Ridge Middle, has a pair of back-to-back events coming up this week. On Friday, the middle school athletic league dual tournament is at Upson Lee with Saturday’s Lake Country Traditional Tournament now being hosted by Jones County.
