The Queen of Hearts, Humpty Dumpty and the Cheshire Cat visited Jones County High School last week in a production of “Alice in Wonderland”
The production took place in the JCHS auditorium
March 17-19 with a cast and crew that numbered 35 students from all grade levels.
Weese said the crowds were excellent for each show. She said Lizzie Merritt, who played the part of Alice, won fourth in state for her dramatic monologue the same weekend.
“She is very talented,” the director said.
Weese said the play was fabulous and she is super proud of the kids involved.
“These are memories they will keep for the rest of their lives,” she said. “We all had a wonderful time.”
