“The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked” (Jer 17:9) People living in unrepentant sin live in darkness. The longer they live in sin, the darker that darkness grows, and the more deceived they will become. Man’s heart in that darkness is desperately wicked, and in that darkness a person is capable of doing horrendous kinds of evil.
Killing innocent children is satanic. It is the depth of desperately wicked. Whether its done at a school or in an abortion mill--it is depraved, satanic, dark wickedness. Regardless of the instrument, it is the heart that decides how that instrument is used--for evil or good. Change the depraved heart and the instrument will be used for its rightful purpose.
God says that every imagination of the thoughts of his (man’s) heart was only evil continually (Gen 6:5).
The human race can not, never will, redeem the depraved heart of mankind. Only God Himself can do that, and He does it through His Son Jesus. Only Jesus can chase off the darkness of Satan. Only Jesus can remove the depraved heart and replace it with a heart like His (Eze 36:26). When the heart is changed, the person is changed.
