Practice by practice, the Greyhounds are working toward the season. Whether it was on the field or in team meetings, summer workouts continued on multiple mornings last week for the Greyhounds with the end of the optional team activities in sight.

The Greyhounds will wrap up the month with an acclamation period that will precede the first official day of practice July 31. That’s the first day the GHSA allows teams to practice in pads. Some urgency will come with that timing with it being just 11 days shy of the Greyhounds scrimmage at Buford. That will lead into the first game week of the season as JCHS opens the schedule against Northside in a game played at Mercer University.
