With the nine-team league narrowed to its top four teams, the Grayberry Women’s Softball League wrapped up a summer of action on the softball diamond last week with champions being crowned.
After victories in the semifinal round, the green and gray-clad Washed Up took the win against the Bad Pitches.
Last Tuesday’s final round of games cap the regular season. In those games, the Bad Pitches beat the Thirsty Pitches 12-8, Maximum Effort beat Purple Haze 20-6 and it was the Pink Panthers beating the Bad Pitches 11-3.
