Teldrick Ross helped MTSU snap a threegame losing streak in last week’s 31-23 win against Louisiana Tech. Ross’ five solo tackles led the Blue Raiders with his six overall being third on the team for MTSU, which played this past Tuesday at Liberty.
Jontavis Robertson and Duke remained unbeaten in ACC play with Saturday’s 24-3 win against NC State.
The Blue Devils play at Florida State on Saturday.
East Carolina’s Javious Bond was injured on the opening kickoff of last week’s 31-10 loss to SMU and did not return. Bond has been one of ECU’s most explosive players this season, being second on the team in rushing and has been their primary kick returner as well. The Pirates host Charlotte on Saturday.
