Highway 49 baseball/ softball sign ups ongoing
Baseball and softball sign-ups are ongoing for the Highway 49 complex and go through Feb. 10. In-person sign-ups are from 6 pm to 8 pm on Jan. 25 and from 11 am to 3 pm on Jan. 27, Feb. 3 and Feb. 10. Tryout details will be sent after registration, and will take place Jan. 29 - Feb. 3. Highway 18 Baseball and Softball Sign Ups Underway
Online sign ups have begun for the spring baseball and softball season at the Highway 18 Complex.
In-person sign-ups are on Jan. 27 from 10 am to Noon. The final day for online or in-person sign ups is Jan. 27.
There will be no tryouts for wee ball or tee ball leagues. Tryout dates are Jan. 29 through Feb. 3, and more details will be sent following sign up.

Air Rifle beats Stockbridge
Jones County High School took the win in last week’s air rifle match at Stockbridge to improve to 6-2 on the season. The Rangers now have two matches left in the season scheduled for Jan. 25 at home against McDonough and Jan. 30 at Ola.
Alumni soccer game slated for March 9
JCHS soccer will host its inaugural alumni game on March 9. Registration is $20 per person and due by Feb. 18. The games will be co-ed with a 30-minute half.
