Women in Mission annual yard sale

Gray Methodist Women in Mission annual yard sale will be Saturday, March 2, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Gray Methodist Church, 121 Gordon Street. Funds raised will support Women in Mission throughout the year.

Mount Salem Missionary Baptist Church

The Mount Salem Baptist Church, 159 Cleveland St., Gray, would like to invite you to their annual Family and Friend’s Day on Sunday, March 17, at 11:15 a.m.

JC Pilot Club Scholarship

Applications for the Miriam Ethridge Pilot Club of Jones County Scholarships are currently being accepted.

Two $1,500 scholarships will be offered for the 2023-2024 school year. Applications for the scholarships are available to any high school senior who is a resident of Jones County.

Application forms may be obtained from the Counselor’s office at Jones County High School, or any of the following locations in Gray: Jones County Public Library, Ace Hardware, Exchange Bank, Magnolia Bank, Morris Bank and Cadence Bank.

The deadline for receiving applications is Friday, April 12, 2024. Please direct any questions to Esther Foster, 478-986-7589.

MGCAA Head Start Applications

Required documentation: birth certificate, proof of birth, social security card, immunization record form 3231, proof of income / proof of SNAP, SSI, TANF, GA Public Health Form 3300, Medicaid or insurance card, well child and dental check, verification of income and housing.

Salem AME Church

Salem AME Church, 115 Holloman Rd., will be having its Annual Son’s of Allen Men’s Day Program on Sunday, Feb. 25, at 2 p.m. The guest preacher will be the Rev. Mark Pierson of St. Luke AME Church, Forsyth.

CASA Volunteer Training

Ocmulgee Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) will hold a new volunteer training every Monday and Wednesday, January 29 - March 6, from 1-4 p.m. at the Putnam County Administration Building, 117 Putnam Drive in Eatonton.
