Easter Sun Rise Service

The community is invited to Easter Sun Rise Service at the Round Oak Ancestors’ Memory Park, Sunday, March 31, at 7:00 a.m. Pastor Darrell Burns will lead the service. Come and join in praise to Jesus Christ.

Easter Service will be at Sunshine Church at 9:45 a.m.

New Haven Church Women’s Conference

Friday, April 26, 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Saturday, April 27, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at New Haven Church, 893 New Haven Church Road, Gordon. Tickets are $20 for the weekend. Childcare provided Friday and Saturday. Brunch and free gifts for all attendees will be provided for the Saturday event.

Main Street Gray Hometown Spring Festival

Saturday, April 13, sponsored by Cadence Bank. Arts and crafts vendors, food trucks, live music, and inflatables. Festival 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Concerts begins at 3 p.m. - adult admission $5 and kids are free. Bring your chairs for our outdoor concerts. 117 Ross Street in Gray.

JC Pilot Club Scholarship

Applications for the Miriam Ethridge Pilot Club of Jones County Scholarships are currently being accepted. Two $1,500 scholarships will be offered for the 2023-2024 school year.

Applications for the scholarships are available to any high school senior who is a resident of Jones County. Application forms may be obtained from the Counselor’s office at Jones County High School, or any of the following locations in Gray: Jones County Public Library, Ace Hardware, Exchange Bank, Magnolia Bank, Morris Bank and Cadence Bank. The deadline for receiving applications is Friday, April 12, 2024. Please direct any questions to Esther Foster, 478986-7589.
