April is National Pickleball Month, and Jones County Pickleball is in the midst of hosting multiple free events throughout the month to give local residents the opportunity to learn more about the sport.
A basics class was held this past Saturday with a family basics event set for 10 am to noon on Saturday for families of three or more. A men’s open basics class will be held from 10 am to noon on April 20 for ages 14 and above. On April 27, a lucky seven roundup event will be held from 10 a.m. to noon. This event is for beginner players that have been playing for six months or fewer. All events will be held at the Jones County Pickleball Courts at the Morris Bank Recreation Complex, and sign-up info is at https:// linktr.ee/jcpickleball.
