Jones County’s eighth grade football team cranked up the offense in last week’s win against Upson Lee, winning 47-30. Laquon Pendleton and Amarion Ussery each rushed for three touchdowns, and Chandlon Stone ran back an interception for a touchdown.
Jones County’s seventh and eighth grade football teams are scheduled to scrimmage one another next week at Greyhound Field.
