Friends & Family Showcase on Oct. 10
The cheerleading programs throughout the Jones County School System will host their annual Friends & Family Night Showcase on Oct. 10 at 6:30 p.m. in the JCHS Gymnasium.
The night will include performances by Turner Woods, Dames Ferry and Mattie Wells Elementary as well as the middle school and high school cheerleading squads from Jones County.

Eighth Grade football pulls away to knock off Henderson The win went to Jones County in eighth-grade football action last Wednesday as players from the combined team from both Gray Station and Clifton Ridge Middle Schools led early and put away the game late to top Henderson Middle 28-8.
