    Gray Station tops Clifton Ridge

    A glimpse at Jones County’s future Lady Greyhounds on the softball diamond got the spotlight last Tuesday with Gray Station and Clifton Ridge again took on one another at the JCHS softball field.

    Gray Station prevailed 14-2 with the game being followed by JCHS head coach Tripp Burt addressing players from both teams afterwards. Both teams wrap up the regular season this week as they vie for a spot in the first round of next week’s conference playoffs on Oct. 1.
