Veterans lined up under the big flag and marched into the W.E. Knox Center behind the banners of their conflicts at the Nov. 9 Veterans Appreciation Day Event.
The Col. Allen Carr 5K was the first event of the day. The 5K had 90 runners, which was a record number for the race.
