Powerful Tools for Caregivers
The Middle Georgia Regional Commission will host an online series beginning May 13 through June 17 on Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m.
These programs give caregivers tools to avoid burnout and ensure they are taking important steps to take care of their own well-being. Benefits include peer support, connecting with others, fewer feelings of isolation, and developing coping strategies.

2025 Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program
The Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program will be held Thursday, June 12, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Jones County Senior Center, 126 Senior Center Way. The program provides eligible Middle Georgia seniors with fresh fruits and vegetables from local farmers’ markets.
Benefits are issued on a firstcome, first-served basis until all are distributed. Pre-registration is encouraged. Registration forms are available at the Jones County Senior Center. For more information, call 478-986-6815.
Swing A Club for CASA Golf Tournament
Ocmulgee Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) and The Club at Lake Sinclair present Swing A Club for CASA Golf Tournament on Friday, May 16, 2025. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m., with a shotgun start at 11 a.m. at 3700 Sinclair Dam Road, Milledgeville. Registration is $150 per person and includes green fees, cart, swag bag, drinks, lunch and appetizers at the awards ceremony. (Team of 4 is $600). To register, visit bit.ly/2025CASAGOLF.
