The Jones County News salutes the local Veteran of the Week

Oliver Tooley is the local veteran of the week. He was a private first class in the U.S.

Army, serving three years. He did his basic training at Fort Jackson, S.C., followed by a tour of duty at a military base in Aberdeen, Md. He was a mechanic and repaired and maintained tanks and trucks.
