The Lady Greyhounds are the class of the region after repeating as champions. The recently released all-region honorees back that level of accomplishment.
A total of four Jones County players have been named all-region selections, led by region player of the year Kamiyah Adams. She averaged 19 points and 11 rebounds per game for the Lady Hounds and has now scored 1,000 career points. She is also 14 rebounds shy of Chimere Jordan’s single-season rebounds record of 317.
Aubrey Norris was named a first-team selection after averaging 13 points, six rebounds, and two steals per game. Desirae Dumas picked up a second-team listing after an average of 12 points, five rebounds, and two steals per game. Liberty Pennamon’s role in the Lady Hounds’ overall success earned an honorable mention selection. She averaged six points, four rebounds, and three steals per game.
