Fryer catches three TDS in LaGrange loss
De’Queze Fryer accounted for all three of LaGrange College’s touchdowns against Southern Virginia, but it was not enough as the Panthers fell 35-21. Fryer had nine catches for 127 yards, the longest being a 59-yard touchdown.
LaGrange concludes its season Nov. 12 at Huntington.
Teldrick Ross led the MTSU defensive secondary in a 40-24 loss to Louisiana Tech, having the Blue Raiders’ lone interception and a teambest three pass breakups. MTSU is 4-5 on the season and hosts Charlotte on Saturday.
Duke and Jontavis Robertson are now bowl eligible after Friday’s 38-31 at Boston College. The Blue Devils host Virginia Tech on Saturday.
