    Destin Howard picked up a win for the Lady Bulldogs during Saturday’s Red & Black Showcase, a 9-7 victory for Georgia. Howard pitched an inning and a third in relief, holding St. Johns without a run and one hit in that span.

    Georgia hosts a combo of Lipscomb, Hofstra and Cal Baptist this weekend in the Georgia Classic and plays at Georgia Tech on Feb. 28.

    South Georgia Tech and Camryn James are a win away from an unbeatben conference record following wins of 70-50 and 89-72 last week against Middle Georgia Prep and Albany Tech. The regular season concludes Feb. 25 against East Georgia.

    James had 10 rebounds in both wins.
