Greyhound JROTC female and male Raiders teams competed at the 2024 Georgia Raider State Championship at Spalding High School.
JCHS JROTC Senior Instructor Capt. (Ret) Michael McMillian said the state championship was the culminating event for an outstanding Greyhound JROTC Raider season.
“Only the best of the best Raider teams from all over Georgia competed at the Nov. 2 meet,” he stated.
He reported that the Lady Hounds showcased their strength and determination, earning second place in the Tire Flip event and an impressive third place in the Raider fitness challenge.
“Equally, the Troopers (male team) demonstrated their skills, securing a commendable third place in the Cross-Country Rescue event,” the captain said.
“The Raiders, having given their all on the field, are already looking ahead with determination and commitment, eager to build on their success in next year’s Raider season. Go Hounds!”
