Solomon named region offensive player of year, 12 named all-region

    Led by Region Offensive Player of the Year Jaivon Solomon, the Greyhounds claimed a lion’s share of all-region honors with a total of 12 being recognized, four as first-team selections. Those first-team selections were quarterback Devin Edmonds, linebackers Zacari Thomas and DJ Ingram as well as defensive back Javion Butts.

    Second-team selections were defensive lineman Corey Williams, defensive back Zach Hurt, offensive lineman Alex Hammond, and tight end Daniel Hawk.

    Those named honorable mentions were offensive lineman Gerald Evans, linebacker David Little, defensive lineman Horace Robinson and defensive back Tyrese Dean.
