The push to pick up wins in region play and also fine-tune elements of their game continued for the Volley Hounds last week in a pair of road matches. Jones County fell 25-21 in both games to Woodland in addition to dropping 25-17 and 25-15 decisions against Ola. Caroline Rickman took on two different roles to aid the Lady Hounds in those matches, playing both middle blocker and right-side hitter as she registered four blocks.
In non-region play, the Lady Hounds fell 2-1 to Providence Christian, winning 26-24 prior to losing 25-12 and 15-9. Against Lake Oconee Academy, Jones County rallied to win 25-22 after opening with a 25-18 loss before dropping a 15-12 decision in the decisive game.
The Lady Hounds, who recognized their seniors this past Tuesday against Rutland, play this Thursday at ACE and host Union Grove and Locust Grove next Tuesday.
