GOCHC debuts Native American and Frontier Georgia Cottage Exhibits

Georgia’s Old Capital Heritage Center at the Depot Inc.(GOCHC) will host the grand opening from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, May 17, to its Native American and Frontier Georgia Cottage Exhibits.

Jones County Fire Department Station 1 on Highway 49 will be having a spaghetti dinner May 10, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.Each plate includes spaghetti, salad, bread, dessert and tea for $8. Walk-ins welcome. Dine-in or carryout.

Pitrowski provides P&Z leadership

Tim Pitrowski has lived in Jones County for almost 40 years and has worked in the county’s Planning and Zoning Office for 32 of those years, 28 as head of the department.
