Highway 11 Halls of Horror’s doors are now open

Highway 11 Halls of Horror is ready to open their doors starting in October to scare and spook those who are looking for a Halloween thrill in Jones County. The building is located at 1035 Highway 11 in Gray by the animal shelter.

Donny’s Propane provides personal propane needs

Donny’s Propane, a local propane company, is open for customers who are looking for a personal touch with their propane needs. The business is located at 8323 Rivoli Road in Juliette, and is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Pilot Club hosts annual Touch-A-Truck

The sixth annual Touch-A-Truck took place in Jones County on Saturday, Sept. 23 at the Jones County Sheriff’s Office, where children were able to sit in various vehicles. The Pilot Club of Jones County helped to put the event together and to raise funds for brain awareness.

Raiders host JROTC competition, succeed on new home course

Jones County High School’s JROTC program held its first Raider Competition, which was by all accounts a success. The Raider Competition was held Sept. 16 at the new JCHS Raider Course that has been a work in progress over the summer. The competition featured five events.
